Love it or leave it, the Mac transformed computing into an avenue for creative expression. The Mac turned a computer into a canvas, starting with graphic design, which led to web design, photography editing, music creation and filmmaking.
Steve Jobs is masterful and tyrannical in his leadership, but he should also be remembered for the paradigm shift in computing he fostered.
